This is just TV shows here, with the Letterboxd classic "Top 4," in no particular order. If I want to specify a certain season of the show, I'll do so accordingly. (Eg. "The Pitt -Season One-")

True Detective -Season One- (2015)
★★★★★
Truly of the belief that this is the best season of television out there. I can't watch detective dramas anymore because this one so flawlessly executed the concept, I will forever be comparing detective shows to this one season.

Midnight Mass (2021)
★★★★☆
Low-key, this show was made for me. Combining two of my biggest interests - Vampires, and religion.
This series resonates with me, mainly because of my overwhelmingly negative history with Christianity and Catholicism. I love studying it, however, specifically the meta-textual. Demonology, the book of Enoch, etc. are so interesting to me.

Twin Peaks (1990)

Laura Palmer I'm so sorry
David Lynch is one of the goats, but I didn't truly know why until I saw this show. Holy fuck is this good. I can barely explain how much I love it.
It's a more supernatural detective show, although nothing about it is as it seems, and I love how that's explored within.

The Pitt -Season One- (2025)
★★★★⯪
The first season is absolutely fantastic. Second season is starting a decline, which I hope will not become a pattern.
I hold an interest in medicine (without having the smarts to really understand it,) so this show was my real bread and butter, in contrast with other medical shows that sacrifice the near-infinite, valuable source material that is medicine, by putting it in the background to place importance on the sex and work drama between doctors and nurses.

The Handmaid's Tale (2015)

The book is great - Highly recommend.
The show - The first season was everything I thought it would be when I started. As the show went on, also did my disbelief. I wouldn't be able to pin-point it, but June realistically would've been executed multiple times over. Plus, a lot of the cinematography gets repetitive. By season six, I grew fatigued by the constant push-in shots into Elizabeth Moss's face. It's okay every once in a while, but please don't let that be the only shot used in the show.
